Expect the room to be comfortably warm (not hot) to facilitate your practice. Except for Intro, Basics, and Yin the room is kept at 78-80 degrees year-round.
Intro to Yoga
Absolute place to get started. Designed for those with no experience. Learn the fundamentals of basic poses and movements, and basic breath technique in an easy-going relaxed pace.
YogaBasics
For beginners or students who prefer a slower paced class. Learn the correct alignments of basic postures & movements, & breath techniques. You will build a solid foundation that will improve strength and flexibility while keeping your body safe and your practice enjoyable. 4-8 classes recommended before moving into YogaRoots.
YogaRoots
This is our all levels class. Flow at a steady but moderate pace while building strength and flexibility in "root" or foundational postures and movements. Modifications of postures are made to accommodate everyone, offering both newer and experienced students a satisfying, accessible experience. We recommend 4-8 Basics classes for those students with no prior experience.
YogaFlow
Expect a creative, energetic class that explores a variety of poses and themes. Focus is on developing stamina and flexibility while tending to inner and outer alignment. This class builds on the foundations of YogaRoots while encouraging students to move freely and intuitively -- guaranteeing a fun & challenging practice. Experience of Basics highly recommended.
YogaFlow II
Set the bar higher, see your body respond to consistent, steady effort.
This class is for the serious student with a solid foundation in asana.
As a group we will cultivate a relaxed effort as we work with intermediate level poses such as hand stand, full back bends, splits, and many arm balances. There will be lots of opportunity to accommodate, sweat and laugh along the way. Not suitable for beginners
Slow Flow
For the Beginner student or students wanting a slow paced movement experience. Expect a mellow class, an easy pace with slow, rhythmic moves and deep stretching. This is a perfect class for winding down after a long day.
Meridian Flow
This very unique class is for students wanting to engage and understand the energetics of yoga. Meridians are energy pathways that circulate throughout the body. Each class will engage a meridian path by focusing on yoga postures that activate and balance the circulation of prana (vital energy) throughout the body/mind. Beginner to intermediate students welcome. Modifications of postures will be offered to suit each students needs.
Yin Yoga
Slow down, restore your energy, relax your mind in a yin-inspired practice. Longer holds and use of props allow the body to surrender, muscles to release, and the mind to quiet. Great for all ages, first time students, students recovering from injury, or to complement a vigorous practice or lifestyle.
Community Yoga
All levels class taught by focus' teacher training graduates at a reduced rate. $10 drop in
Meditation Sangha
Enjoy the calming effects of meditation on the body and mind as you practice with the support of a sangha (spiritual community). The session is partly guided and open to all levels of experience. Questions will be welcome at the close of each session.
Join us anytime, no need to register or call in advance.

Visualization practices will be accompanied by soothing music to enhance the experience. This class may be helpful to individuals dealing with grief and loss, medical illness, or chronic stress.

We will use lots of props and move at a slower pace to accomodate students with more limited range of motion. Enjoy the sweetness of yoga and feel yourself move again with more freedom and comfort.

OUR POLICY:
please read
Why expiration dates on the cards?
We encourage all students to commit to the classes they purchase. It is only possible to experience the benefits of yoga with consistent practice. A class every few months doesn't do much for you and doesn't give you time to learn yoga well enough to really enjoy it.
Our class cards are offered at a very fair rate, which helps support the dedicated student.
Please consider your availability before purchasing a card. We appreciate your understanding and respecting our policy.
